Olympus Steelyard

Overall we had a great experience at Steelyard for the 2 years we lived there. We broke our lease and moved out early because we bought a house, and the process was very straight forward... we even got money back after leaving! From the moment we dropped in for an impromptu tour, the staff was all wonderful. We were given a tour by someone who doesn't work there anymore, and decided the same day to sign a lease. We had a 2 bedroom apartment on the 4th floor with great mountain views. There are elevators on the property which helped during move in and out. The amenities like the speakeasy/pool/hot tub/gym, yoga classes, the board room and work space, and community spaces are a large part of why we moved in. When we got our keys the first night, we were surprised to see a welcome gift on our kitchen counter! Cold brew is on tap and right near the mail room and gym, so we quickly settled in and made a new morning routine. During our time, we had a few maintenance issues arise. We put in the request through the app or website and it was always taken care of within a few days. Jay and Kraig were awesome and always happy to help. In the front office, Gentry, Cerena, Kylee, and Jenny were always happy to answer any questions we had, make additional key fobs, help us find packages, etc. The package room and third-party food deliveries both were convenient to use, however we had the best luck after writing detailed default instructions in the delivery apps. The rooftop lounge and pool areas were nice for barbequing, and the facilities were well kept all around. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping options nearby, so there were always activities to do. My recommendation if you're moving in is to buy a collapsible wagon and an electric scooter. The wagon is a LIFESAVER carrying groceries in from your car, trash to the bins, etc. and was used every day. The electric scooter is a great way to quickly get around inside the complex to check mail or packages, hop over to downtown Chandler without looking for parking, and just a fun way to explore the area.

My husband and I have lived here for three years. We went from an 8000 square-foot house, to 4500, to a 2000 square-foot three bedroom apartment. I have to say we are pleased to be living here. Anytime there’s an issue maintenance is on it immediately! Our apartment is spacious and nice. Our neighbors are nice or keep to them self. There’s always activities going on for the kids, for the young adults and for the “more mature”. If you’re looking for a place to call home we definitely recommend that you check this place out.

The apartment itself wasn't a bad place to live! Maintenance was always quick and responsive, leasing office was nice for the most part too. Walls can be thin and you can hear your neighbors but that's an aspect of apartment life that is to be expected. The apartment is gated and parking is for residents only. I was told during my move in of August 2018 that they tow cars without Olympus Steelyard parking permits but that the permits were in the mail. I moved out around June 2018 and never received a parking permit, despite having asked multiple times. Parking was rough at times with people having visitors over. Main reason for my low star review is that I found dog waste on my welcome mat outside my door one day and I took photos and showed management and they never followed up about it... It was the final straw for me.

I have been living here for almost 4 years and I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. The staff and management are great and always quick on addressing any potential issue. The apartments and amenities are top notch, the communal areas are always remarkably clean, and the residents overall are nice people. There are also quite some enjoyable activities to do such as the gym and yoga classes, the Speakeasies and weekly food trucks. To top it all, it’s just a 5min walking distance from downtown chandler. It has been a pleasure living here and I am glad I found this gem. I would like to thank all the management team and staff, especially Gentry and Jenni, for providing us such a calm and enjoyable living experience.

I’ve been at Olympus Steelyard for a month now and I have nothing but incredible things to say about this place. For one it’s my first ever apartment and I had the opportunity to tour and stay connecting with Gentry and Staff for months up until my move in date to keep me warm and assure that this was going to be the right home for me. I felt supportive throughout the whole process and Gentry made it really easy for me to understand how everything worked and also has the best people skills. He honestly was a big part of my decision making when I was apartment hunting. This complex is close to everything, your in the heart of downtown chandler where good food, good drinks are and they have food trucks outside the complex every Thursday when you don’t feel like driving out anywhere. Been to the pool and enjoyed my time and also they have monthly events that happen to bring community together. My neighbors are friendly and the amenities/mail room and package room system is top notch quality. I feel like im living luxury getting my packages. Lol. I have had a maintenance request that got solved in an hour and everything just in between has been an all around great experience and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m thankful I chose this to be my home for the time being so if your thinking of renting, DO IT! Give it a tour and you will fall in love.
